Award Winners at Club Dinner

Inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award
This year saw the first presentation of the new "Lifetime Acievement Award". This award aims to recognise and celebrate those who have have made outstanding contribution to Carrickfergus Cricket Club.

There could be no more fitting inaugural recipient for this award than Robin Beggs. Beggsy is quite simply a living legend whose statistics are nothing short of staggering: his playing career spanned six decades and saw him take more than 1,000 career wickets. It is virtually impossible to envisage a playing career such as this surpassed.

Special Recognition
The Club is always keen to acknowledge those who have made an outstanding contribution as players by commemorating their 25th anniversary as a playing member. This season, thanks to stoic determination and no small amount of sticky tape, that milestone was reached by Ally McCalmont.
