Cornishman Raymond was Carrick's Bowler of the eighties. Joined following the closure of I.C.I. in 1981 when aged forty and gave ten years sterling service to the 1st XI.
A very accurate medium pacer he took 319 wickets @ 13.39 for the 1st XI between 1981 and 1990.
Won the 1st XI Bowling Cup on six occasions.
2nd XI captain 1991.
Groundsman 1991-98.
Club President 1994-95.
