Profile
Andrew is a very steady opening batsman and medium pace bowler, who represented Ireland, the NCU, Ulster Schools and Irish Schools at various age levels. He joined the club from Cliftonville CC in 2005.
Played for Ireland Under 15 team who won the ICC European Championship in 2002, and for the Ireland Under 17 side in 2004, scoring 52 v Holland.
Represented the NCU at Under 13 (2000), Under 15 (2001 & 2002), Under 16 (2002 & 2003), and Under 17 (2004) age levels, scoring 79 v Leinster Under 17's.
Played for the Northern Ireland Under 14's in 2001, and for the Under 17's in 2004 when he scored 38 v MCC.
Was a member of the Belfast side which competed in the Lord's Taverners' Inner Cities Cup at Arundel in 2001.
Represented Ulster Schools at Under 15 level in 2002, and at Under 19 level in 2004 and 2005. Represented Irish Schools in 2005.
Carrick's Young Player of the Year 2005 and 2007 and Bowler of the Year in 2008.
Batsman of the Year 2009.
Spent winter 2006-07 playing in Queensland, Australia.
Scored over 500 runs for the 1st XI in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Coached the NCU U13's in 2008 and Belfast U14's in 2008 & 2009.
Was appointed as the Club's Director of Coaching and 1st XI vice captain for 2009 and 2010.
Left in 2011 to take up a youth coaching role at CSNI.
