Ross Gelderbloem Batting Style Bowling Style Right-hand Right-arm fast-medium Profile Ross who comes from Port Elizabeth in South Africa came to the Province to work early in 2009. He played for the same club, Uitenhage CC, as the van Rensburg brothers, and is a genuine all rounder. He is a very accurate right arm opening bowler, and a top order batsman. Ross has represented South Africa at Indoor Cricket, and played in the last World Cup which was played in Bristol in September 2007. He scored 750 runs @ 37.50 HS 107 and took 27 wkts @ 18.77 in his first season in 2009, and was the Club's Cricketer of the Year. Very popular with everyone at the Club, Ross returned as the Club's main overseas player in 2010 and 2011, enjoyed two more very successful seasons. Was appointed as 1st XI captain for 2011 and 2012 seasons.
