Jamie Holmes Batting Style Bowling Style Right-hand Right-arm leg-spin Profile Jamie is an young Irish qualified New Zealander who joined the Club in the 2011 and played in the 2012 and 2014 seasons. He plays for Wairarapa in Central Districts New Zealand, and is seen an an exciting young prospect who has a big future in the game. He is a top order batsman who has been opening for his club and province this year, and is regarded as one of the most promising leg spinners in NZ. He has represented Central Districts at various age groups. 1st XI Batsman of the Year 2012 and 2014. Jamie broke the club record for most runs in a season in 2014 when he scored 1158 runs @ 52.64 (HS 147, 2 x 100's, 8 x 50's) Won the Club's Cricketer of the Year Cup in 2015, when he scored 683 runs @ 48.79, finishing 6th in the NCU Premier League batting averages, and took 16 wickets
