Award Winners at Club Dinner


Club Cricketer of the Year
Another superb all-round season for this year's winner. He scored 543 runs at 41.77, including his fine century against Lurgan. He took 22 wickets at an average of 22.09, with best figures of 4 for 34. Added to this, he took eleven catches and captained the First XI to their best ever finish with fourth place in the Premier League. The Club Cricketer of the Year for the sixth successive year and ninth time in total was Ryan Eagleson.

First XI Batsman of the Year
Winning the Batsman of the Year Award for the eighth occasion, Barry Cooper had another superb year with the bat. 634 runs at 37.29, including a superb Senior Cup century and three half-centuries, made Coops the undoubted winner of this award.


First XI Bowler of the Year
Our winner, Gideon van Rensburg, was the Club's leading wicket-taker this season with 39 wickets at an average of 16.49, with best figures of 5 for 23.
